Where street art meets runway style

This creative initiative was set to reflect a youthful, energetic and relevant statement for a Gen-Z audience, building in street art culture to our fashion-based content. It’s about being bright, and expressing individuality through creativity. The strong 80’s and 90’s influence that was about to take a hold in the fashion scene among some key categories - Fashion-based sportswear, luxury casualwear and occasion-wear is evident in the styling.

Included within this series of materials are highly stylised, editorial photography and videography, and also a series of Millennial and Gen-Z friendly illustrated assets, engaging digital and social media short form videos and a series of striking cinemagraphs.

With a 80’s and 90’s influence that was about to take a hold in the fashion scene among key retail categories (Fashion-based sportswear, luxury casualwear and occasionwear) the creative direction was centred around modern-nostalgia. This was told with a stylistic representation of the era, exploring the grading and colouration, along with the styling associated within the period.

The film and still content below was created with a series of KOL’s from across our key tourism markets to ensure that we were delivering assets that were authentic, had impact with our guests and could provide an on-going relationship and dialogue with the Villages throughout the year.

Continuing on from the spring campaign’s 80/90s stylisation, I wanted summer to provided a more escapist approach to the season in a faux dream-like environment. With the key business thematics of' ‘Festival’ and ‘Summer Events’ these assets look to provide a light-hearted retro approach to both the photography, videography and the set design. Once again, KOL’s were leveraged to provide a 360 degree approach to our content creation whilst ensuring that the story was continued throughout summer.

Working with Kuwait-based bloggers and influencers, The Hybrids, the aim was to capture the sense of fun and playful sophistication that all of the business's campaigns were embodying at the time and to produce a series of complimentary images and behind-the-scenes elements that could be used, predominantly in source market to encourage Middle Eastern guests to visit Value Retail's collection of Villages across Europe during the Summer period. 

Based in La Vallée Village, Paris and La Roca Village, Barcelona, I worked with a photographer to creatively direct, plan and strategise a series of images and animated gifs which personified the fun and excitement of visiting the Villages in a playful, but authentic and  genuine manner. The final assets were used in a series of social media adverts which, impressively, out-performed the pervious years Middle Eastern Summer Campaign by 400%.

The Bicester Village Shopping Collections’ Summer Campaign combined several key marketing and retail strategies for the summer season; a resonance to the Village's quintessential English countryside location; a celebration of all things royal; a undeniable sense of luxury and finally an underlying dedication to Shakespeare and the both the floral and literal thematics within his literature.

Originally planned as a Bicester Village Campaign, the project soon became a pan European campaign, with a further six of the Business's shopping Villages requesting similar imagery to enhance their summer strategies too.

Bosideng launched their fashion line and South Molton Street store in the UK in 2012. A known brand in Asia, the brands USP is its high-end feather down coats and an evolution to this, its beautifully tailored suits and jackets. 

This F/W shoot encompassed their USP with a literal reference to the feathers used within the retailers clothing lines. Shot in stages, the models were shot with the birds being comped into the shoot in the retouching phase. The result is the outstanding photography which fused British and Chinese culture. This imagery was then used in all promotional material, which I along with my Creative Director at the time lead, on their website, of which I was a creative consultant, and throughout their emails, which I built and designed.

Working in collaboration with celebrated, luxury men's publication Gentleman's Journal, myself and my Content Director set about storyboarding and producing a series of films for the business which encapsulated all nine of Value Retail's shopping destinations across Europe during the Fall/Winter period. With a Village in almost every notable city, the aim of the project was to show the idyllic location of each Village, the beauty of the manicured malls, the fantastic shopping available and the destinations in which they are located. A huge success for the business, these films help to idealise our Collection of Village to not only a domestic market, but also a source market.

Previously taking a 'Playfully Sophisticated' stance on all creative communication this campaign, featuring the beautiful photography of renowned fashion photographer Erik Madigan Heck, saw a much more sophisticated take on luxury.

A 360 degree campaign, the Spring/Summer assets included several mood films, a vast array of stills, a selection of gifs, dedicated editorial features, shot for purpose social stories and behind-the-scenes video, stills, gifs and editorial.

To help enhance part of the men's focus British Designers' Collective project in 2014, a live animation of the rebranded logo was required to add gravitas and reality to the project and it's accompanying logo. Deciding upon a neon element to help tie together the Royal Academy of Art and men's publishing giant GQ, the neon element was born.

Working with a 3D rendering specialist to create these animations, I directed the look and feel of the creation helping to bring the project to life in all digital formats as well as on the main boutique front itself

A selection of still life photography assets shot for various brands across the business including Hugo Boss, Michael Kors as well as multi-brand curated looks to compliment seasonal campaigns. All executions were curated and created by myself for the brand and in the cases where the content required to be a sole brand focus, working in collaboration with the brand and the Retail Marketing department to provide an aesthetic that worked for both Value Retail’s brand and their brand.

A theme of Future Vintage led all aspects of this British Designers' Collective, from the store front and interior design to the invites, swing tags, bags and showcase book. 

The Queen Elizabeth image dominated all material in both print and digital with the accompaniment of a vibrant splash of turquoise and a heavy red lip. All printed customer facing material also came with the addition of a lace pattern, taken from her collar, delicately printed on an accompanying vellum.

Store Concepts: Clare Ceprynski

The British Wool Collective was a campaign and boutique devised by Bicester Village in collaboration with The Campaign for Wool and the British Fashion Council.

A new concept for the business, I conceptualised and created the brand identity for the boutique, taking influence from the campaigns wooly beginnings to produce a logo and accompanying pattern that personifies the textures of wool and its weave in a modern, minimalistic design.

As well as the brand identity, I went on to further produce a beautifully laser cut invite which utilised the the pattern I developed for the campaign and a whole suite of collateral to accompany and embody this look and feel.

For the past five years, the British Designers' Collective in association with the British Fashion Council, has invited the hottest, emerging design talent from London Fashion Week to Bicester Village to feature in a highly conceptual, fashion led boutique for six weeks. Attracting designers and celebrities such as Gemma Arterton, Yasmin Le Bon, Mary Katrantzou, Eudon Choi, Yasmin Sewell and Roksanda Ilinic, the Boutique has been the pinnacle of the Village's PR and social media buzz.

With a new theme every year, the British Designers' Collective is a vast and complex project which covers several design-led disciplines, including; Boutique concept design, thematic design, printed and large format collateral, video and digital asset design.

This years' concept blended the old with the new, forging a combination of rugged and rustic nature with ultra high gloss whites, shimmering metallics and uber modernity.

A hugely successful, conceptual fashion concept produced and presented for the past five years from Bicester Village was now in need of an overhaul to further establish itself at the forefront of the British fashion scene. 

Taking a softer approach to the previously square, bold font, the logo was resigned to carry an undertone from the previous identity, but with a new handwritten aspect to invoke a sense of personality, rebellion and personalisation. The logo became an amalgamation of several different styles of handwriting, scanned in and manually adapted for purpose.
